Information for Authors
 |
CE3000.COM is currently recruiting continuing education authors for bail agent continuing
education courses. On a contract basis, authors will design and deliver components
that are edited into a course offering. Each course will be an hour in length (several
courses can be "bundled" into a longer workshop format). The author will create
and deliver the components listed in the process below. If you are interested in
providing a course, please submit a course abstract and a resume to us. After we
receive your completed abstract and resume and they are reviewed by a course editor,
we will contact you to complete contractual arrangements and set a timetable for
product development. Once under contract, the author will provide the following:
- A brief course description, including a description of the intended audience
- A set of learning objectives (usually 3 to 8, depending on the course)
- A detailed course outline with a script for A/V and animation placement
- Questions or knowledge reviews based on the learning objectives
- Any accompanying slides, graphics, audio, or video materials the author has developed
- A bibliography
The Bibliography materials are reviewed by the course editor, and may be revised
based on the editor's comments. The author is then digitally recorded delivering
the lecture. After any necessary additional A/V or animation components are compiled,
all the materials are combined in one of our digital studios. After a final review
by the course editor and any necessary final touches are completed, the course is
added to our library.
We want our courses to remain valid, and due to the dynamic insurance and bail industries,
regular review of each course is necessary. Therefore, in accordance with the policies
set by our editorial board for the subject material in the course, the course will
be reviewed at scheduled intervals by an editor and the author to ensure that the
material is still current and correct. If modifications are necessary, we'll enter
into another agreement with the author to assist in making any changes to ensure
the course remains correct, topical, up-to-date, and educationally valid.
